Gettin' my graffiti on

My friend Annie asked about this photo in yesterday's photo recap:

She wondered if I wrote on my fridge with dry erase markers instead of using a dry erase board.

The short answer? Yep. Why? Because I have a plethora of dry erase markers, no dry erase board, and I'm too cheap to go out and buy one when I have a fridge that fills the need perfectly. Everything wipes off easily, and if I want it to be extra clean I just spray a little window cleaner on it.  There are upsides to not having a pretty stainless steel fridge!

Later in the day, I was on the phone with my mom and mentioned the lists on the fridge.

"But what do you do when you need to take your grocery list to the store?" she asked.

The short answer? This:

I snap a picture of it on my phone and read off the photo while shopping. I really prefer this to having a slip of paper. It's easier to remember where the list is--nothing gets lost in the depths of my purse!

So, what do you all do for your lists? Anyone else get their graffiti skills going on unconventional surfaces?
