Big News

I've got big news. (And no, not of the human-growing variety for those of you who immediately thought "baby!")

Because of this news, my mind has been all over the place lately. I've been switching gears left and right. It's been big change in a short time--it's been less than a week since we found out!

Here's the jist:

Hubby got a new job. We're moving to a different town in another part of the state--three hours west of our current location.

This means:

We're busy getting our little home ready to sell or rent (not sure which route we'll go yet.) This is long before we ever thought we would leave our house and is therefore long before all our grand plans have come to fruition.

At the same time, we're house hunting in an vastly different community and housing market. It's exciting and equally exhausting.

Many of our current home's projects are changing because of the move. We're now working to get the home rentable or sellable--in other words, desirable to the masses instead of simply full of everything we love.

We're thrilled for the adventure ahead and excited about all the possibilities before us. We're also a little sad to leave our friends, family and life we've made here. Change is hard, but that doesn't make it bad. Full speed ahead!

There's so much to do, so much to decide, so much that's out of our hands. Stay tuned. It'll be a wild ride.

And because I hate to post anything without a photo, I'll include a little sample of something I designed as possible wall art for us. We love the silhouette of us jumping (taken during our engagement photos and used on this blog.) It took me a bit of time, but I think I found a fitting Bible verse to accompany it.
